Starting in 1953, Bill and Barb Chandler were very busy running Bogus Basin lodge during the winter months. They put in 19 years serving the Basin Burger, which at that time sold for $1. 00! Many have known Barbara Chandler as the First Woman of Idaho Tennis. Barbara was the 1946 National U. S. Women's Clay Court & National Junior Hard Court Champion. She held the Idaho Singles, Doubles, amp; Mixed Championships for fifteen years & the Intermountain Singles, Doubles & Mixed Championships for nine years. In 1996 she was inducted into the Worlds Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame.
