The Family Therapy Institute of Alexandria was established in 1978 as a private clinical and training facility in the middle of Old Town Alexandria. The Institute has M. D. Ph. D. L. C. S. W. And counseling team and faculty, as well as periodic visiting lectures. Most team members have been trained in family, personal, couples, and group psychotherapy, and most have been trained in Neurolinguistic Programming and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. Clinical services cover the full array of issues for which people seek psychotherapy.
