Davis Health Care

Champion McDowell Davis dreamed of a place where seniors would choose to live and employees would desire to work. He turned his vision into reality in 1966 when the 1st resident entered the nonprofit skilled nursing home named for his mother, Cornelia Nixon Davis. Today, the 50-acre Davis Community includes the Health Care Center, a 199-bed skilled nursing facility; Champions Assisted Living, an apartment-style community of active seniors; and the Physicians Group, a medical practice specializing in treating the health concerns of aging adults.
