A life long Alaskan, Dr. Dobson has been in private practice since 1981. Received his Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. Completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitative Optometry at the Veterans Medical Center Los Angeles. Past president of the Alaska State Board of Examiners in Optometry. Dr Dobson is the Alaska State Professional Committee Representative for Vision Service Plan and is currently serving as Chairman of the Pacific Northern Regional Profesional Committee Represntatives for VSP.
