Disability Resources
Disability Services in Abilene, TX
Disability Resources, Incorporated, or DRI, started in 1987 with the wish of a young man who wanted a place to live, work and play with his friends. In fact, our logo is an artist's rendering of what he drew in the dirt with a stick when he illustrated with his heart what his words could not. From that wish to now, the mission of DRI has been to help developmentally disabled individuals achieve their highest potential in a Christian environment. The organization has expanded to forty-nine participants in our domestic and vocational programs with seven group homes and a thriving vocational center.
