John Santoro Sr. started Santoro Oil Company after serving in the US Navy during World War II as a decorated war hero in the Italian & African arenas. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, his sons Joseph, John, and Anthony entered the family business. Over the past 40 years, the brothers have expanded the business with operations in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Virginia, and North Carolina.
