Eco-Investigations Camps

Joan has taught and directed camps for many years, including at the Museum of Natural History of New Mexico, the Institute for Ecosystem Studies in New York, W. Alton Jones Environmental Education Center in Rhode Island and for various school districts in California. All camp sessions are taught by the Director and an assistant. Joan has a Masters in Education from the University of New Mexico and a BS in Environmental Studies from Cornell University. She received an EPA Environmental Education Award in 2002 and has authored successful Science Curriculum in both English and Spanish.
