The Eisenhower Center. Traces its origins to the early 1950's. At that time, families, community members and service organizations joined together to build a training program for people with cerebral palsy. Their mission was to supply a program that would supply training to improve work skills and increase the independence of people with disabilities. In addition to the program, there was a very strong parent group which provided financial support and direction for the agency.

read moreClients learn the skills necessary to particpate in work contracts we receive from businesses in and around Milwaukee. When necessary, we will create adaptive equipment to allow those with physical challenges to participate as fully as possible in the work services program. This allows all of our clients to gain the satisfaction of earning a regular paycheck. Case management and social services are provided for each person attending the program. The case manager is an essential link between the program, client, therapists, residence and other community services.
