Enterprise Financial Services Corp founders Fred Eller, Kevin Eichner and Ronald Henges in the late 1980s envisioned a complete-service financial firm that would serve the lifetime financial requirements of privately- held businesses and their owners. The concept was to blend exceptional service with top-flight banking and wealth management products. In 1988, they launched the 1st banking location in the St. Louis area and aptly named it Enterprise Bank. To allow for growth into new service lines, the entrepreneurs who launched the banking business formed Enterbank Holdings.
