Dr. Michael A Burnstine gained his M. D. From Harvard Medical School. He completed an internship in medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed his ophthalmology residency at W. K. Kellogg Eye Center, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where he served as chief resident in ophthalmology. He received his fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Allen Putterman, M. D. At the University of Illinois at Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary and Michael Reese Hospital.
