Underneath the fireglass another filler material (such as lava rock) will be used to fill up the bowl to the level of the fire ring. We recommend then installing a screen material over the fire ring / lava rock to separate the fireglass from the material below. Stucco lathe for ceiling works very well as a screen material and is available in local hardware stores. Once you have the screen material in place, simply pour the fireglass on top.

A Technology - We have the ONLY system on the market today that was designed and developed for the outdoors. ALL of our competitors use 'off the shelf' components, package them to be weatherproof and then sell them for "Outdoor Use". The reality is that Electronic Ignition Systems that were designed to be used indoors were not designed to compensate for the effects of Wind and Rain. As a result all the 'other' systems on the market today do not perform well in the wind at all and are easily rendered useless after a heavy rain.

Call toll free (877) 807-8923 to obtain an RMA# from a FBD representative. All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging including manuals, accessories, cables, etc. with the authorization (RMA#) clearly printed on the outside of the package.
