In the late 1920's, Franco Novelty Co. Was established in Montgomery, Alabama as an amusement games operating firm. As the firm grew, an amusement games distributing firm was added, Franco Distributing Co. In 1964, the principals of Franco Distributing Co. Bought Robinson Distributing Co. Located in Atlanta, Georgia on Edgewood Avenue. They changed the name of this firm to Greater Southern to reflect a more regional identity. Eleven years later the firm moved to its location on Marietta Boulevard, where they remained until October, 2001.
