read moreOur family didn't start Friedman's Jewelers, but our legacy with Friedmans began with my grandfather. I remember him cherishing his time with his grandchildren, he would show us magic tricks and teach us how to do them. He would record his favorite jokes on tapes so that one day he could make us smile when he was no longer with us. His name was Felton Thompson and no, he wasn't a Friedman. After coming back from WWII, my grandfather joined his brother to begin working for A. A. Friedman, at Friedman's Jewelers in Augusta, Georgia.

read moreThat means that if a piece is defective from the manufacturer that the item will be repaired or replaced (that option is determined by Friedman's). Items that are modified, damaged or abused are subjected to having the warranty voided. The warranty does not cover stone replacement, but will cover stone re-installation or tightening. On occasion we get questions regarding our ability to honor Friedman's past warranties (2009 and earlier) so we would like to answer those questions. Many of the warranties had a requirement to bring the item to a Friedman's store for a service inspection to maintain the warranty, which was kind of hard to do once all of those stores closed.
