read moreWater heaters usually last an average of 8-10 years. You can tell if you need a new heater if it leaks out of the bottom. This is usually preceded by your hot water showing signs of rust a month or so before it leaks. If you have a leaking water heater you should shut off the gas to the water heater- then shut off the cold water going into the tank. Then call me to see which tank is best suited for your needs. I will remove your old tank and dispose of it and install your new tank usually the same day if I'm notified before 3 PM.

read moreIn the spring of the year 2000, I designed and installed a cold- water radiant cooling system in my house that performed beyond my expectations. I circulated 56 degree well water through my existing radiant floor heating system. This cooled my floors off to approximately 68 degrees. The first question everyone asks is "is that enough to cool off your whole house?" The answer is not completely. I then installed 2 cold water-fan driven heat exchangers, one for each floor with separate thermostats providing automatic zoned comfort, these exchangers are what packs the punch in this cooling system, they provide air movement and a greater capacity for cooling and they also help to remove humidity.
