GaRRS is an independent, nonprofit, 501(c)3) organization, established in 1980. Our goal is to supply blind and print-impaired Georgians with access to the printed word through technology and volunteer readers. We're staffed almost entirely by volunteers who read from more than 120 magazines, 35 newspapers, and 25 unabridged books each month. We deliver public service information, as well as, community-support programs targeting such audiences as seniors and veterans.

About Us
read moreGaRRS brings the printed word to individuals across Georgia who are visually-impaired or print-disabled. Our programming provides readings of periodicals and books that would otherwise be unavailable to those who cannot read printed materials. In addition to books, magazines, shopping ads, and newspapers, GaRRS also has employment information, service programs, and announcements targeted to the interests of individuals who are visually-impaired and print-disabled. GaRRS also has an extensive library of previously-aired content, including magazines, newspapers, and service programming that can be accessed through our website.
