A graduate ofPost University, Barney actually started her career in fashion merchandising. Her eye for color & design techniques speedily led her to a merchandising director position for several major retailers. Barney with entrepreneurial aspirations started combining her creative design skills and her interest in Specialty Foods by attending the NASFT Trade Shows (National Association of the Specialty Food Trade) and celebrated the grand-opening.

As a child I would gather items from my Mom's kitchen to create cheese and crackers plates and modest dessert buffets. My little creations were not only fun to assemble but brought everyone together, the essence of my gift baskets. I am often asked how I came to be in the gifting business, over twenty years ago Irecognized the need for realestateclosing gifts. Personally delivering my gifts to Realtors and new home owners began generating requests for gift baskets for all occasions.
