read moreThis year's cross country team was a young team with not much experience. Nonetheless, they gave their all everyday and consistently improved, with each member achieving personal records every race. Westwood has not seen such a successful cross country team in several years. Baseball and life have a lot of similarities: the game has no time limit but we know it will come to an end. Reacting to failure is the most important aspect of the game and you can compare that to the life of a Christian because as sinners we come short of God's expectations but by repenting and praying, we can bounce back from a poor at bat, poorly executed pitch, or losing focus on what God has planned for us.

read moreWestwood Christian School provides students with the opportunity to expand and grow in the fine arts. Whether developing basic skills, performing for friends and family, sharing in chapel worship, or competing at FACCS competitions, students learn that their interests and talents should be used, trained, and developed to glorify God. The speech and drama department, under the direction of Ms. Katie Lynch, is available to students in middle and high school. Students in drama perform a play each year and compete at the FACCS Fine Arts competitions each spring.

read moreOur Senior Lauren Amat was selected to participate in the Miami-Dade County 2018-2019 All-Star volleyball game which consisted of a few elite players selected from both private and public schools. We are very proud of her! Last week Sebastian Guitian signed the contract to attend West Palm Beach Atlantic University. He has received a full basketball scholarship. We are proud to see Sebastian pursue his dream and we are blessed to have been part of his development. We wish you much success! Last week, during an exciting and emotional Tuesday afternoon our senior Emannuel Dowuona officially signed up with Purdue University.
