read moreSteve Harvey is a comedian, actor, entertainer and radio personality. Born in Welch, West Virginia on January 17, 1956, his family moved to Cleveland, Ohio when he was young. In the mid-1980s, Harvey began doing stand-up comedy. He was a finalist in the 2nd Annual Johnnie Walker National Comedy Search (1989), which led to his becoming host of "It's Showtime at the Apollo."
