ABOUT GREG STEFFEN Greg Steffen has been in the marketing and sales side of the music business since 1970, starting in Buffalo, NY in the rack-jobbing division of Transcontinent Records. From 1973 until 1977, he was western NY sales rep for Action Music, an independent distributor located in Cleveland, OH and subsequently was hired in 1977 by A&M Records as their upstate NY marketing representative. He relocated with A&M to Atlanta in 1978, then on to San Francisco in 1985.
