In order to preserve the tradition of classical music in America we need to impart an understanding, appreciation, and love of this music in our youth. Music is a universal language. Classical music is a very special form of communication because it mirrors all human emotion from the deepest sorrow to the greatest joy. It is our obligation to make sure that none of the richness of classical music is lost for future generations. The students of today will become the performers, teachers, composers, and audiences of tomorrow.
