Harp & Thistle Imports

Harp and Thistle Imports opened in March of 1999 to the sound of bagpipes and fiddles. The opening day celebration was a memorable event on East Seiberling Street in Peoria Heights, Illinois. Ann O'Neill and Betty Rohman named their business for the national symbols of Ireland and Scotland. Expansion happened speedily and the shop moved to 4605 N. Prospect Road in Peoria Heights, the present location. Over the past seven years, Harp & Thistle has evolved into an anchor shop in this quaint shopping district. In 2003, Ann O'Neill moved to Boston, and Betty Rohman became sole proprietor.
