read moreThere's never been a better time to straighten your teeth with the most advanced clear aligner in the world. Our office is proud to be a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligners, which give you a clear, convenient, and comfortable option to achieve the smile you've always wanted. At your initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and evaluate whether Invisalign treatment is right for you. We will use a scanner such as the iTero digital scanning system to create fast, precise 3D digital images of your teeth.
Office Visits
read moreAt the first visit, you will meet with Dr. Hartman and our treatment coordinator. At this time we will proceed with an oral examination and discuss Dr. Hartman's findings with you. At the second visit to the orthodontist, diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. These include complete diagnostic records, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient.
Types of Braces
read moreTraditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile. Self-ligating braces are made from the same materials as traditional braces. However, self-ligating braces do not require the use of elastics, meaning fewer appointments and less friction being placed on the tooth.
