Sims underwrote the 1st tax-exempt long-term care bond issue in the US in 1965 and has since managed over $9 billion of senior housing and long-term care bond issues. Our specialty is financing projects for the elderly and 95% of the $500 to $700 million of new issues we bring to market each year finance such projects.
