Environmental Assessment Services
read moreHKC has performed several Phase I assessments, for real estate management and financial companies. Our typical Phase I assessment consists of a site inspection to identify conditions that might impose environmental liabilities. In addition to the Phase I steps above, sites that had chemical storage facilities or used chemicals in their operations are further investigated to determine subsurface soil and groundwater conditions. This investigation gives the interested party immunity from environmental liability.
Risk Assessment Services
read moreOur staff has completed several Risk Assessment projects, including Plan A and Plan B Risk Assessments according to TNRCC regulations. Drilling activities to collect soil samples and install monitoring wells. This Risk Assessment project was performed to determine the lateral and vertical extents of impacted soil and groundwater. All activities were conducted according to applicable regulations, including soil and groundwater sampling and decontamination procedures. All equipment introduced into the subsurface is decontaminated to prevent cross contamination between samples and produce accurate results.
