Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido is a martial art training that coordinates the body and mind to work together as one, using a universal power called Ki. It trains the personal to be one with the Universe, creating Happiness, Self Confidence, Love, and Respect. Discipline, Concentration and Harmony are taught to both, kids and adults. It teaches all students to use Ki in their daily life. Aikido has become part of Ki training. Master Koichi Tohei Sensei, tenth Dan in Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, brought Aikido to Hawaii in 1953. In 1955 he founded dojos in Honolulu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.

He developed Ki Training, Kiatsu and Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido over a lifetime devoted to personal development. Beginning with Hawaii in 1953, he traveled the world to teach Ki Principles and Mind & Body Coordination. His extraordinary performance of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido arts and his masterful teaching inspired students for over 60 years.
