Jaime Ferrer-Schmidt

Ferrer, was born in the Chilean capital of Santiago and studied there at the School of Fine Arts (Escuela de Bellas Artes) where he developed thanks to Augusto Barcia, Adolfo Couve, Luis Lobos, Rodolfo Opazo and his contempo-rary friends like, Matias Pinto D Aguiar, Jorge Tacla and many others of that wonderful generation. Upon completion of his studies, he painted and showed his work locally while longing to travel and explore beyond his native land.
