read moreThis is Session 1 of 3 of Abby, Jeff and Cy. We all spent a warm and blissful Sunday together at The Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, Va. Abby and Jeff are expecting to meet Cy sometime in the next week or so! Jason and I can't wait to meet him, either! Cy will have his first portrait taken when he is 3 weeks old and then another at 3 months.
read moreAfter their wedding in October of 2013, Chris and Katie have gotten their portraits taken with Jason every year around their anniversary. Busy schedules pushed our shoot just a couple of months past their third anniversary, but that day had worked out beautifully for everyone. I suggested venturing out around Silverback Distillery in Nelson County, where gorgeous mountainous views are a-plenty. We could ultimately take advantage of a tasting (except for me who's allergic to alcohol) as well as pick up a few last minute holiday gifts.
