Since 1969 Chris & Helen Kaprantzas have warmed the hearts of many with their smiles and great cooking starting at Cristo's Restaurant on Hay Street in downtown Fayetteville. After closing Cristo's in 1984 they opened the doors to JK's Deli & Family Restaurant. After thirteen years of business in there tiny but busy restaurant they decided to expand the business out 25 feet. Now being able to seat 121 clients. Renovations began March 24, 1997. After 3 weeks of the doors being closed they reopened and the people just kept coming in.
