read moreI recently hired Joe for one of the most special events in my life.... my wedding. He was nice enough to wait for us to be done at city hall beeeyond our appointment time and didn't rush us at all. He was caring and always kept the conversation going to make us feel comfortable. My wife was concerned of the uniqueness of the photo and asked Joe the impossible (in my perspective). She asked if Joe could take all the people out of the pictures and just leave us in it.
We took the pictures at the Brooklyn bridge at 2:30pm in between cyclists and tourists. I was already delaying him from his next gig now to ask that?! Nonetheless he delivered the request and made it look like we had booked the Brooklyn bridge all to ourselves.

I'm from Missouri, and I always get nervous when I hire vendors out of town since I only go off of reviews from strangers. Joe exceeded my expectations. He worked tirelessly to edit the video footage until it was exactly how I wanted it, not ever complaining at all the back and forth emails. He also asked all the right questions prior to the event in order to secure a proper shot list so he didn't have to ask questions during the event. Joe's attitude and good spirits was just the icing on the cake. I will be back to NY for events in the future, and I will most definitely hire him again!

read moreJoe is very reliable, talented and personable photographer! We met him through Thumbtack and I was pretty nervous to be honest. He responded to my e-mail promptly and professionally. He is punctual and generous with his time. Throughout the photo shoot, he was very patient and creative with our two little kids. Finished photographs are phenomenal!!! We are already excited to work with him again and would definitely recommend him for anybody who might be thinking about working with him.

As far as headshots go, I can understand that they can be anxiety inducing, to say the least. From a budgetary perspective, headshots in NYC can be costly and, as a working actor with an income that's sometimes less than stable, this cost can sometimes be felt a little more poignantly than someone who's paycheck comes in once a week and on the regular.
