In 1974, we made a dedication to specialize in cutting tools. With that commitment made, we phased out power transmission provides. We then made an agreement with Union Butterfield to become a complete line stocking distributor of high speed round tools. The initial order of $25, 000 in metal cutting tools founded Johnston Industrial as the biggest stocking location in the valley.
