JWCH Institute

JWCH Institute. Is a private non-profit health agency that was set up as the Attending Staff Association of the John Wesley County Hospital in 1960 by concerned L. A. County physicians. These team physicians sought to establish an agency that could obtain additional funds to support and augment patient care, education, and research at the John Wesley facility. When the hospital was demolished in 1979, the agency continued its efforts to help LA County patients, but the name was no longer relevant and was subsequently changed to JWCH Institute.
