System development started shortly thereafter, and, in 1998, K-Guard gained US Patent #5, 845, 435 and sealed a contract with the firm's 1st licensed dealer. In the short time that has followed, the K-Guard Leaf Free Gutter System has speedily gained the reputation of being the premier product in its industry. K-Guard currently has dealers in 30 states and Canada.
