read moreWith liposuction, Dr. Kabaker is able to sculpt natural curves of the jaw line, neck and body. Protruding abdomens, hips, outer thighs (saddlebags) and knees can be significantly improved. All liposuction cases are now done using the tumescent/small cannula technique. The tumescent technique is performed in our San Franciscoplastic surgery office under local anesthesia, a diluted anesthesia solution being injected into the areas to be operated on. As a certain amount of time passes, the area gets numb and the blood vessels shrink.
