We moved to the US in 1990 and my father was always a hard worker throughout his life. Even after reaching America, he continued to work 18 hours a day to ensure his family a wonderful home and a better life. In December of 1996, my father decided to open a video store at our house and we received a great response from our local Indian community. Many people encouraged us to open a new, Indian store. In July of 1997, my father took the advice and opened Kashmir Groceries and Imports.
