All holidays, upcoming events, workshops, performances, studio rentals, deadlines, and special training opportunities taking place at KJ have been added to the calendar. This calendar displays information for all dancers training in our weekly TWC program, VIBE Hip Hop Crews, and THE PULSE DANCE COMPANIES. KJ Dance Designs, owned and directed by Kristy Ulmer Blakeslee, was established in Plano, Texas since 1993.

read moreKJ Dance offers a wide variety of dance classes for children of all ages and all levels. The mission of KJ is to focus on each individual student, teaching GRACE, POISE and SELFLESSNESS through the art of dance. KJ provides a safe, nurturing environment where dance is the vessel by which a child can gain self-esteem and valuable skills including teamwork and creative thinking. The value of leadership, a team focused mindset, and the development of a quality work ethic are all principles upon which our dance curriculum is founded.

read moreThe show will feature the TWC (Training with Confidence) students of KJ Plano & KJ Frisco, our PULSE graduating seniors, the PULSE performance company dancers, and our VIBE Hip Hop Crews. Audience members will be highly entertained as they are taken through different scenes of adventurous artistry in a unique new annual storyline. Color, sound, and movement will keep concert goers of all ages on the edge of their seat. As the performers take the stage, the costuming, set design, lighting, and digital effects will collide to create an original KJ Dance concert celebration.

Active members have opened doors to support their KJ family through philanthropy and community. The KJ LEGACY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION represents former students, from the last 3 decades, who trained under the direction of KJ's founder and director, Kristy Blakeslee and the KJ faculty. As KJ Dance continues to grow and evolve, the desire to link our alumni dancers together for a common purpose has become an exciting reality.
