Shawn did a thorough inspection of our home identifying and sealing potential rodent access points. He also contacted us throughout the week to follow-up. This place is amazing! Sean from Lakewood Exterminating was so experienced and professional. I had an ant problem and he came out within a week and sprayed outside. For a couple of weeks there were no ants in the house, but we did see some in the house a couple of weeks later. I called and Sean came out the next day, sprayed again, inside and out for no charge. I received a call from his office today making sure everything was good. They are fantastic! Plus, I love local businesses. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Shawn and his tech, Joe, were amazing. I originally called another larger company who couldn't provide services in a timely manner. It was a rodent emergency as my baby son was exposed to a dangerous and unhealthy situation. Shawn and Joe came out immediately and addressed the problem. They were available and provided excellent service, even checked up with me while I was on vacation. The problem was addressed and abated. I would recommend them to anyone, and will hire them again if need be.

Shawn was on time, professional, clear about cost, and did a thorough evaluation and treatment. We had just moved in to our house and having found mice droppings in the kitchen, he made sure things were sealed up, left traps, offered a maintenance plan, but didn't push, let us know what he thought. If I think I have a problem with mice or other bugs, I will call him again. He gets the job done.

When contacting Lakewood Exterminating, Shawn, the owner, was very informative and professional. Though they were busy for the week, Shawn was able to get me an appointment for the very next day. Joe came out and was able to locate the ants and successfully exterminate them. He was able to answer my questions and concerns as well. We have not had any ants and have been very satisfied. We have Lakewood Exterminating come out every 2 years when a bee problem develops. They powder coat the house and kill the nest and then there's no more issues. In fact, I think we're going to start a yearly powder coat prevention. Responses are always quick and polite and the job is always done timely and professionally. It definitely puts my mind at ease knowing they'll be out shortly after you call them, especially when you have a severe allergy. If you're in search of an exterminator, you need to call them.

Had squirrels in my attic and Lakewood Exterminating did a great job handling this problem. They explained the procedures clearly and were responsive to my texts, questions, and concerns throughout the process. After weeks of ant issues I finally called to get a quote. Shawn was very reasonable on price, in fact he was below the average. He was very responsive to calls and emails and I had an appointment the next day, which was a government holiday. The treatment worked and we have had no problems since. I highly recommend.

We had a pavement ant issue for a while. We have controlled them inside ourselves with Terro and can usually get rid of them quick. We get them every summer. This summer we just couldn't control the nests they were forming outside. We have used other exterminators but didn't have good results. I used this service in the spring of 2017 when I found a carpenter ant problem in my basement. Shawn came by for a flat rate to take a look. He dropped some traps, sprayed around the edges of my basement and around the exterior foundation. Using his 30 day callback guarantee, he came back at my request a few days later when I was still experiencing ants at the same rate.

Then I called him back for a third visit. He wasn't able to come back until after the 30 day window but still honored that because I had called him before it expired. This time, we found the carpenter ant nest in my side door frame and he eradicated it. I haven't had a problem since. His first visit left something to be desired but his two follow-on visits accomplished what I needed and met expectations. Highly recommend.

Good guy right here, honest and stands behind his work. Will definitely use again. Had some issues with my tenants in a duplex and he has offered to service the other side for half the price he normally charges. Prices are fair and work is exceptional.

My husband called Shawn at Lakewood Plant & Pest because of the Yelp reviews and because we were experiencing an ant problem around our house. Shawn arrived the very next day and thoroughly looked at where I felt we had a problem AND looked at our entire property, pointing out the source of our problem and making some suggestions, as well setting traps and spraying where needed.

When I asked about our cat, who goes outdoors, he suggested keeping her inside for 24 hours. We were delighted with Shawn's responsiveness, thoroughness and professionalism and are glad to recommend him to others!

We gave this place a call for pest removal because they were local and donated a portion of their profits to the Lakewood Early Child PTA. I was hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. I got the best. It is nice to deal with someone who knows everything about their line of work so you can just get out of their way and let them do it right the first time.

Since that first encounter we have had Shawn out to do some landscaping work. If you like to to banter on about plant genius, species and growth cycles, Shawn will rattle off information like he is reading from a text book. If you just say "make it pretty, make it purple, make it cool" he can do that too. His prices are fair, his knowledge is deep, and he doesn't waste time. 5 Stars

I asked these guys to upgrade the curb appeal of one of my rental properties. They installed a grass backyard (previously stone pebbles) and removed the overgrown shrubs from the front of the house. Not only did the project get done ahead of schedule, the before and after were like night and day. My property is now one of the best looking in the neighborhood. Further, they recommended shrubs that look nice but are relatively low maintenance which was perfect for my rentals! Did I mention that the job was done at a fraction of the other quotes I received?!
