The French Drain System has been improved upon my manufacturing our own design into the pipe. By using slots rather than hole in the PVC pipes, water is allowed into the pipe freely. Smooth PVC, rather than ridged flexible hose, enables dirt to flush out easier than ridges would. Sump liners are solid body, rather than having holes in it as some firms use, so that the water must rise to approximately 8 below the floor before being pumped out. There is no need to pump water that stands 3' below your floor.
