Laser Integrated Physical Therapy. Represents a new era in Physical Therapy. We're the 1st to use low level or cold laser as the main modality and one of the few to work on the patients requirements not what the insurance feels their requirements are. We currently have found cold laser to be far superior than other older modalities used in traditional Physical Therapy settings. Healing times for many injuries have been reduced dramatically and the need for older modalities which have been in use since the 70's and before is obsolete. Laser is pointed on the injured area for a varied amount of time followed by some or all of the following treatments: stretching, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, traction, deep tissue work, strengthening, kinesio taping, ice, and or hot packs. The laser we use generates little or no heat and for most there is not much of an associated sensation. Initial appointment includes an evaluation.
