Fter many years of debating whether to take the chance on correcting my eye sight; my new boyfriend convinced me to get the surgery so when we get old, I will not be blind and we can then take attention of each other. I wore thick, coke-bottle glasses from age 7 until I was in eighth grade, and got contact lenses, which was in 1983. My vision continued to worsen, until at age 36, I was diagnosed as LEGALLY BLIND without the help of contacts or glasses. I could not see the clock in our bedroom at night, despite the 3 high numbers;
