Leather Furniture Shops

Leather Furniture Shops is one of the great retail success stories in Philadelphia. Established in 1982, by Allan and Bernice Tunick (their son, Robert joined the business soon after) Leather Furniture Shops arrived on the scene at the time when few stores carried any leather furniture at all. The idea of a leather furniture specialty store was almost unheard of. The Tunicks were dissuaded on all fronts from opening such a store, but Allan Tunick, a 2nd-generation furniture rep, stood company.
