The Wilhelm family started operations in the Uptown District of Lisbon avenue in 1945 when Lawrence Wilhelm opened his grocery store on the corner of 52nd and Lisbon. Through an odd unfolding of events in the late 1950's Lawrence started selling used doors and windows right at the grocery store. Demand for this new grocery line, became so popular that in 1961 he closed the grocery store and began Lisbon Storm Screen and Door Company. In 1970 the store incorporated under its current name Lisbon Storm, Screen and Door. Today, our annual sales are in excess of 9 million and our client base extends throughout the US.
