If you're a visitor to Hillcrest, please take a look at the websites below for information about visiting our wonderful neighborhood. Earlier today (12/3/20), Governor Newsom announced that regions with less than 15% ICU capacity will be ordered to shelter in place for three weeks. The order would divide the state into five regions, lumping San Diego into the Southern California region. Once the threshold is triggered, regions would have 48 hours to comply with the new rules.
read moreThough most services are free, the HBA does provide some services for a fee. These premium services are in fact heavily discounted and are provided to members at cost. The HBA has an on call security patrol in the core of Hillcrest (Hillcrest MAD) from 4am to 4pm every day to assist with issues such as individuals who are causing trouble in the neighborhood, individuals who are panhandling, or those that are blocking sidewalk access. Members that are outside of this area, or want their alleys patrolled, are able to apply for security patrol services on a subscription basis.
