Pet Hospice And Palative Care
read moreWe aim to empower and guide you in becoming your pet's strongest supporter during their end-of-life care. Our pet hospice program offers three types of consultations. We can assist your pet by providing a personalized home visit to assess them in the familiar surroundings of your home. This allows us to observe your pet in their natural environment, helping you recognize their unique subtle behaviors and pain signals.
In-Home Euthanasia
read moreI would be delighted to discuss your pet's individual circumstances with you over the phone. During our consultation, I'll offer guidance on the aspects of the end-of-life process, aftercare, and creating a memorial for your pet. Throughout this decision-making process, you will benefit from my expertise, understanding, and unwavering support. Additionally, I am available for an in-home consultation on the scheduled day of your appointment.

Dr. Westbrook is an angel. It was so much better to be in our own home instead of having to drive. I will be using her again, but hopefully not for awhile! Highly recommend Loving Paws. Updated 2023- it was time to say goodbye to out precious old girl today, and we chose Dr. Westbrook for the second time in 5 years. She's kind, responsive & gentle. Such a blessing to be able to say goodbye in our own home, in our own way. Thank you.

Dr. Westbrook was so kind. We had to say goodbye to our 15 year old dog. We were all very emotional. She was a calming and reassuring presence. She had all the right words to patiently explain to the kids what was happening. Her compassion went a long way towards softening a very painful moment in our lives.

We've used Dr Westbrook for many years. She is truly an angel and makes an unbearable situation so much better and peaceful. It's the last act of kindness for our fur babies to send them onto the afterlife with dignity, peace and love. I don't know how she is able to do what she does but I'm forever grateful that our last moments with our babies are intimate, quiet and not rushed. I cannot recommend her enough.

We love Dr. Westbrook. We had to put our Bassett Hound to sleep on 12/31/2019 13 years old from cancer. Today we had to do the same with our Blood Hound 9.5 years Ella Bella. I can not tell you how Dr. Westbrook handles the situation. It is gold star red carpet treatment.

It never gets easier saying goodbye to our furry family members. It just sucks. Almost 18 years ago, my kids and I decided to adopt another kitten to be a playmate for Tiger, the Orange tabby kitten we adopted the year before. We already had our lab CJ, so what was one more pet! Once again we headed to Operation Kindness where we fell in love with Kelly at first sight.

All three of our girls (yes, Tiger was actually Tigerlily) lived long, happy lives, with CJ passing at age 14 in 2014 and Tiger in 2018 at age 17. Now it was Kelly's turn to cross the Rainbow Bridge, also at age 17. With COVID 19 restricting owners from accompanying pets into our usual vet clinic, I frantically searched online for an alternative when I knew it was time.

A very sad day was made easier by letting her go in the comfort of our home, feeling safe while resting with me on my bed. I can't thank Loving Paws Veterinary House Calls and Dr. Rebecca Westbrook enough for the compassionate care she gave both Kelly and me when we needed it most. Though I hope to not be in this situation again anytime soon, when the occasion arises I will once again contact Dr. Westbrook and Loving Paws to say goodbye to my furry babies.

We said goodbye to our 14 year old bulldog yesterday with the help of Dr. Westbrook. Knowing our girl actually loved going to the vet and got really excited, we wanted a more calm experience at home and it ended up being so peaceful. We were able to say our goodbyes and lavish her with yummy food up until the moment she drifted into a forever sleep. Forever grateful to Dr. Westbrook for providing this service and being such a blessing to families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

If I could give ten stars I would. the compassionate and competent care given by Dr. Westbrook so impressed us. having our sweet girl, who was suffering in immense pain at home, in familiar surroundings with us at her side through this was invaluable. The humane touches to her care truly made us more comfortable throughout the process. I would definitely highly recommend without hesitation

My Gigi was having terrible seizures - up to 5 times a day. She was 15 years old and my husband and I made the very difficult decision to let her go. Dr. Westbrook came to our home and helped me through the entire process. I HIGHLY recommend her if you have a pet that you have to let go. She is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. She is exactly the kind of vet you want in your home for your pet's final moments.

Loving Paws was the best way that we could lay our sweet Buddy to rest. We were in the comfort of our own home and he wasn't in an unfamiliar place. Dr. Westbrook was very kind and walked us through exactly what she was doing. Having to put a pet down isn't something that anyone wants to do, but I believe this is the best way to do it. Thank you Dr. Westbrook for your kindness.

Dr. Westbrook was as professional and compassionate as you could possible want for such a difficult time. She was brilliant. Having a compassionate, competent professional come to your house to make the event so much less stressful is an almost priceless act. I will definitely seek her services again when my other dog is ready to move on.
