read moreIt is recommended that children receive their first eye exam at 8-10 months old to detect any lifelong eye conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye turns) that can be easily prevented. Our doctor participates in the InfantSEE program that provides free eye exams to children less than 1-year-old. Children should then receive an eye exam at 3 years old and then at 5 years old. We are happy to discuss with you the option of refractive surgery. If you are a good candidate and decide to undergo the procedure we will take care of all the pre- and post-operational care visits.

Dr. Than strives to provide quality eye care by performing very thorough eye exams. In her free time, she enjoys reading, bike riding and spending time with family and friends. Vickie is a full time student at UC Irvine studying Biological Sciences and hopes to become an optometrist someday. In her free time Vickie enjoys watching Korean dramas and experimenting with nail art.
