San Francisco mural artist Lynne Rutter is widely recognized as a professional decorative painter, colorist, and fine art muralist. For inspiration, Lynne draws on her extensive world travels; the work of master artists such as Vermeer, Fra Angelico, Max Beckmann, and the patterns and textures of everything pretty she encounters. Lynne studied architecture and design at the University of California at Berkeley, graduating with a degree in fine art. She furthered her training by working as a scenic artist.
