Martin's Family Appliance Center

Our business was began in 1948 in Michigan. We moved to Gainesville in July 1958. To the correct is our 1st Gainesville location : 1307 E. University Avenue. In 1968 we moved to 526 N. Main Street where we added appliance sales to our service business. In 1994 we moved to the Gainesville Shopping Center at 1124 N. Main Street. At this time Dad added Martin's Surplus Store. Chris & Travis referred to it as mini Wal-Mart! We rented storefront locations for 42 yrs and decided it was time to buy a permanant location.
