Manufacturing Company in Milwaukee, WI
Manufacturing Company in Milwaukee, WI Originally established in 1954 by Mr. Hyman Smith, the firm operated out of a tiny backroom at a plant on Hopkins Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The firm produced electronic test instruments used in testing for electrical defects in products. With a strong Milwaukee business connection, one of the firm's 1st clients was Harnischfeger. Milwaukee Electronics provided hi-pot testing for the firm and later circuit board assemblies for Harnischfeger's mining shovels. Mr. Smith ran two other firms, the Milwaukee Transformer Company and Transformer Design. And operated all three firms for three decades until selling them to a holding firm.

About Us
read moreThere are no "one size fits all" solutions in electronic contract manufacturing. Most original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) review their electronics manufacturing activities and pick the electronic contract manufacturer whose business model, locations and capabilities represents the best fit for the bulk of that business. At Milwaukee Electronics, we feel business fit is important. We also recognize that it can be difficult to determine which contract manufacturer is the best fit if you don't have a good understanding of the range of options.

I learned to repair electronic appliances by locating similar models and moving parts between them to repair the device. Larry is on our 25-year "Wall of Fame." One of the things Dan enjoys is mentoring college engineering students via our affiliation with the MECOP internship program. One thing you might not know about Denny (also known as "Gear Head") is that he's a motorcyclist with close to 500,000 street miles, which includes many exciting riding adventures.
