All MidAmerican equipment is made in the U. S. A. Designed and manufactured at MidAmerican's Davenport, Iowa shop. Bill Schwader spent a lifetime in racing and is now fully dedicated to delivering his fellow racers and other metal workers with affordable, versatile, and reliable tools. MidAmerican started selling tools and equipment to the racing industry in 1986. While a number of tubing benders, brakes and other metal fabrication machines were on the market at the time, none were priced for the average racer.
