In 1963, few local visionaries sought to create an affordable and quality opportunity into the Private Golf Club market. Choosing eastern Jefferson County as their area of choice, they acquired known architect Edward Lawrence Packard to design the 6, 864 yard layout known as Midland Trail Golf Club.

A long with his founding partners, Midland Trail Golf Club came to fruition in 1964. A design of noted course architect, Edward Lawrence Packard, the club garnered its name from the road for which it rests by today - Hwy US 60 or as it was originally called The Midland Trail. Our private membership enjoys the parkland links style course resting in the valley.
