read moreWe really try not just to teach to the whole child, but also to truly know the whole child. Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to-and most excited by-those experiences that have allowed me to build connections with someone, especially a child. My work at GSL began at a point in my life when all of these things could come together: building connections while helping children in a place/community where I'm deeply invested. Win, win, win. I work at GSL because I want to give the same special experience that I had here as a student to other children and families.

read moreThe mission at Grace-St. Luke's is to prepare boys and girls to become creative problem solvers, confident lifelong learners, and responsible citizens in their communities and the world. We firmly believes that our preschool-eighth grade model (known as the PS-8 school model) is the best overall environment for children in those grades. This model allows us to provide students with the right support and academic vigor in a nurturing environment. Research outlines various advantages to having children remain in one school as they go through such significant changes from toddlers to teens.
